Jen and Grant get married!

1.  Peyton, Dawson and Skylar make Father's Day mugs at the do it yourself pottery store.

2.  Dave and I sneak away for a weekend at our friends cabin and explore and old mine.

3.  I attend Colorado College for 3 weeks to take a course in Reading Intervention.

Now I can tutor Dawson using Take Flight which is a 

comprehensive intervention program for kids with dyslexia.

4.  Enjoying an ice cold beverage up in Estes Park, CO.  

1. My whole family camps out for Memorial Day weekend just outside of Buena Vista.  It was the perfect place to camp and go 4 wheeling. 

2.  Peyton's last field trip in 1st day was at the zoo.  The kids are inside a wind tunnel.

3.  We spent an evening at the Olympic Center watching the Wounded Warriors play basketball.  Then our friend Jen who is a dietician for the athletes gave us a tour.

4.  We head to Nichols Lake for the first fish of the season.

5.  Summer begins with a hike in the Garden of the Gods.

6.  End of the world party aka Chuck's birthday party up in Boulder

1.   Peyton dying Easter eggs.  

2.   Ava came to stay for a whole week.  We went roller skating, swimming, baked cup cakes, had movie night, went to Mr. Biggs and hiking! 

 3.   Dawson's first cub scout derby race.

4.   Grandma comes for spring break and we all go to the zoo.  

5.  Skye and I join Amy and Julie for a pedi.  

1.  We took a road trip to Canada to see Grandma and Grandpa.  The kids played at the school every night.
2. Mom and I have a bake off.  My sticky buns vs. her butter horns. 

  3. Jen graduates from nursing school. So excited for her!  

 4.  Peyton tending to our herb garden.

Day 63

Peyton's class has been working on their program called The Carnivale of Life.  He was so cute!  They each had a special part.  Peyton's was about family and why he loves them.  He loves that his dad takes him out four wheeling. 

Day 62

Dawson and I had a speedy quick lunch down in Manitou Springs.  Then we peeked into a gem shop where we saw Dawson's favorite guy Einstein.  Let's have a quick peek at last year at this time.  Love that I can look back and be reminded of what was up with us during the month of March, hence why I keep doing this blog when somedays I just don't want one more thing to do.
